WHEN GOD REWRITES YOUR STORY

“When God Rewrites Your Story”

What if the worst chapter of your life is just the beginning of God’s greatest plot twist?

We’ve all been there — standing in the middle of chaos, asking, “How did my life get here?” The dreams you once carried seem distant.

Sometimes life takes unexpected turns. Plans fall through. People walk away. We make mistakes we wish we could undo. And if we’re honest, there are moments we just feel… stuck. Like our story has taken a detour we didn’t sign up for.

But here’s the good news: God is not done with you. Not even close.

He’s not afraid of the messy parts of your life — in fact, that’s where He does some of His best work. The parts you wish you could erase? He can turn them into the very places He reveals His glory.

Look at how He rewrote David’s story — from forgotten shepherd to king. Or how He transformed Peter — from denying Jesus to preaching to thousands. He didn’t choose perfect people; He chose people who were willing to let Him in.

Maybe your story hasn’t gone according to plan — but it’s not over. God is still writing. He sees the whole picture. The tears, the silence, the waiting… none of it is wasted with Him.

So take a deep breath. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just need to trust the Author. Because what He’s writing next might just be more beautiful than anything you’ve imagined.

The Bible says in Isaiah 43:18–19 (NIV):

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”

Reflection:
What chapter of your life do you need to hand back to God today?

PRAYER:
Lord, I don’t always understand what You’re doing, but I trust that You’re working behind the scenes. Rewrite my story with Your love, mercy, and purpose. In Jesus Name, Amen.
